Darknician is seeking volunteers to help build the haunt. We are looking for people skilled in carpentry, set construction, scenic painting, prop construction, costumes, sound, and lighting to help us bring all of our ideas to fruition. Most of "Deadwood Depot" will be pre-built offsite during August, September, and early October. As you can imagine, this requires a lot of pre-planning, and a lot of sweat invested beforehand. We are also looking for makeup artists, actors, and behind-the-scenes helpers to staff the haunt. With a cast of approximately 30 actors each night of the haunt's run, these positions will be crucial to our success. While we have some of these positions filled, we always seem to need more. Most people don't even begin thinking about the Halloween season until school starts, but for some of us, it is something we think about (and look forward to) all year long, even as we work at other jobs and spend time with our families and friends. For some people, this kind of stuff is in our blood. If you are the type of person who loves Halloween and haunted houses, and has any of the skills listed above, we'd like to talk with you.
